Audit Senior positions

We are a leading firm of Business Advisers, specialising in Audit, Accountancy and Tax with a National client base. We are going through an exciting period of evolution and growth and seek to recruit experienced Audit Seniors (part or newly qualified).

Job description for Audit Senior:

To handle all aspects of delivering client audits
To complete the planning of audit assignments to include the drafting of work programmes and appropriate time budgets
To produce service plans for approval
To co-ordinate activity at client premises and communicate issues raised through the audit process
To execute audit projects in high risk areas
To meet reporting timetables and prepare key client reporting documents
To review work undertaken by junior staff and highlight points for review
To finalise all areas of an audit for review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgment.
To attend client closing meetings
To prepare statutory accounts and tax computations.
To supervise junior staff and provide guidance and development both on site at client premises and in the office
To complete staff appraisals and feedback to Semi-Senior/Assistant
To deliver on the job training and development
To analyse fees for review
To recognise opportunities to attract new clients and develop the service provided to existing clients
To assist in practice development and marketing initiatives
To participate in focus groups to develop and implement improvements in working practices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Candidates for this role should be qualified or part qualified with experience
  • Have gained experience within a professional practice.
  • Microsoft Office suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Clean driving licence and own transport
