After joining Whittingham Riddell as a graduate from Liverpool University, Phil spent ten years in the corporate department, concentrating onlarger company/group audits and charities. During his time in this department, Phil performed a number of due diligence exercises for both clients and banks and assisted with the disposal of a number of businesses.
This experience and his interest in this service motivated his move to setting up the Corporate Finance department within Whittingham Riddell, allowing the firm to channel this type of work through one specialist department. This enabled Whittingham Riddell to maximise the efficiency and expertise in this area, which includes business acquisitions, disposals and fundraising.
