Graham has been with Whittingham Riddell for ten years. Prior to this he spent five years training within a Birmingham Practice where he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994.
Graham has extensive experience working with sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and audit exempt limited companies. Whilst providing the routine support in terms of the basic statutory accounting requirements and the annual returns required by HM Revenue and Customs, Graham offers hands on advice to the business owner concerning the day to day business operations. This predominantly is steered by the current taxation opportunities available but also with the emphasis on improving the overall business performance.
Over recent years Graham has been particularly involved with the incorporation of many entities where it has been beneficial for them, given the favourable tax treatment. This involves a very proactive approach during the transitional phase and in particular, managing the initial cashflows and remuneration strategy during the first year. In addition to appraising the merits of changes to existing business structures, Graham is also involved with many new businesses.
