Interest free loans are going to be available for GP practices to fund projects to cut their carbon footprint.
The website will be set up with information and funding will come from the Department of Energy and Climate Change. The website will provide information about the kind of projects which GP practices could become involved in. Additionally, practices will be able to benchmark their carbon footprint against other local practices or similar sized practices. This looks like a welcome opportunity for practices to fund green initiatives.
