At Whittingham Riddell, we believe that professionals need accountants with specialised knowledge of their profession to offer them best advice. We’ve invested in developing a team with specific knowledge of the medical profession.  We offer our services nationwide, but base our fees on local rates.

For doctors in general practice, hospital consultants, locums and non-principal GPs our team’s experience and expertise includes:

We offer a team of staff trained and experienced in medical accounts. We know what is happening in your profession and can give appropriate advice on new initiatives and how they affect you financially.

We undertake benchmarking reviews of your practice’s performance, comparing to national data and our own benchmarking survey.

We help you to review your records during the accounting year to identify and measure practice performance.

dispensing practices:

We advise dispensing practices on issues affecting them including VAT, cash flow funding and profit performance.

retirement and succession planning:

We look at retirement planning and succession planning in the practice. Through our experience we have dealt with a number of practice changes and can help you to develop a package for new partners and advise on the administration of partnership changes.
